Paper-products maker Sofidel has reduced the amount of energy used to light its 5,000-square-meter warehouse located in Lucca, Italy, by 67 percent. The promise of energy savings as well as a significant reduction in maintenance costs spurred this maker of some of Italy’s best-known paper products to replace 108 fluorescent fixtures with 73 Ledway Park fixtures from Ruud Lighting Europe S.r.l.

A total of 28 Ledway Park fixtures with 60 Cree XLamp LEDs each and 45 Ledway Park fixtures with 80 Cree XLamp LEDs each now provide superior quality lighting in the warehouse. Measurements show an average of 10 foot candles of light hitting the floor.
